Sofia Härdig Announces New ‘Lighthouse Of Glass’ LP and Shares Latest Track ‘Kingdom Come’

Swedish artist Sofia Härdig has announced the release of her forthcoming album Lighthouse Of Glass. Slated to land in April 2025, the record follows her previous LP This Big Hush which dropped in 2019. Along with the news, Härdig has also unveiled her new single ‘Kingdom Come’.

Effortlessly bridging the sounds of 70s pop rock and haunting post-punk, ‘Kingdom Come’ is an emotive presentation that is stacked with towering instrumentation, which includes strings, topped with Sofia Härdig delivering a heart-grabbing performance. Produced by Härdig herself, and mixed by Nille Perned, this tune is another addition to the Swedish creative’s already impressive catalogue.

Regarding ‘Kingdom Come’, Sofia Härdig said:

“This was one of the first songs I recorded with trombone and strings and I knew right away I wanted Viktor and Sara on the whole album.” she says of the single “They just made things fall in the right place. Viktor is like a whole little brass ensemble dragged in on wheels and out again. Sara is a voice through strings. This song is part of a longer lyric work, a novel… It’s also one of the songs where you can hear more of my improvised trumpet playing shining through here and there.”
