God’s Mom (the collaboration project of singer/artist Bria Salmena and producer/filmmaker A. Matthews) have released their new album As It Was Given. Exclusive for purchase via Bandcamp and Nina, the LP is available for streaming on all DSPs.

Recorded between 2020 and 2024, the album is an exploration between the traditional vocal styles of Salmena’s Italian heritage and underground club culture. Comprised of 17 tracks, the sometimes dark compositions and other times ethereal sonics juxtaposed by upbeat 4×4 pumps make for a moody landscape that is truly something special. This is definitely a soundtrack to the night, as well as a portal to the heart of the underground club world.

Along with the album, God’s Mom have also unveiled their new single ‘Maddalena’. Attached is also a video to accompany the track which you can watch below.
