Sydney band Party Dozen have unleashed their new track ‘Money & The Drugs’. The single is taken from their upcoming LP Crime in Australia, landing Sept 6th on the Temporary Residence Ltd imprint.

‘Money & The Drugs’ is a wild, ferocious sonic beat down. Falling somewhere in between punk, no-wave, and noise rock, the racing tempo of the song is aided by front woman Kirsty Tickle’s distorted vocals, not to mention her saxophone accompaniments. ‘Money & The Drugs’ is a total juxtaposition to their previous single ‘The Big Man Upstairs’, but no less captivating.

Touching on the track, Jonathan Boulet said:

“The first section of this song is inspired by a sound that we heard at the airport pick up zone in Sydney. A small aircraft coming in to land low would project this low bending rumble into the cement car park filling it with resonant frequencies.”
