Newcastle band Stannington have unveiled their latest single titled ‘Roads’. The tune follows their debut track ‘Through You’, which landed back in June of this year.
‘Roads’ embodies an indie rock meets Brit pop classicism that sounds and feels wonderful. There are sonic feels of The Smiths throughout the song, which is definitely not a bad thing. Singer Lewis Thompson sounds great on the tune, again delivering a nostalgic imprint on the cut. ‘Roads’ is taken from Stannington’s forthcoming debut EP Farmers’ Market, out next year. Have a listen.
