Having released their LP ‘A Fistful of Peaches’ earlier this year, Brighton’s Black Honey have wasted no time dropping a new single entitled ‘Lemonade’.
‘Lemonade’ is an epic piece of indie rock that is grand in production, almost harking to 90s sonics. The song will definitely play will during live performances. The killer guitar riffs that whizzes above the thundering drums are insanely energetic. The chorus is also one that makes you instantly want to sing along with. Black Honey have checked all boxes in terms of an effective rock tune, and we’e here for it.
Black Honey have also unveiled an official video to coincide with the track. Directed by Craig Hemming, with creative direction handled by Black Honey’s own Izzy Bee Phillips, you can find the lead singer in theatrical mode playing multiple characters throughout clips. Izzy Bee Phillips is no stranger to being behind the scenes as she’s directed Black Honey’s ‘Up Against It’ video. Creativity just pours out of her being. Have a look.
