Atlanta-based band Mamalarky have shared their new single ‘Shining Armor’, taken from their upcoming LP Pocket Fantasy, out September 30th via Fire Talk Records.

The track is a whirlwind and mind-bending handing of punk funk, indie, and math rock. Jangly guitar riffs along with funky bass licks are a great backdrop to the airy voice of Livvy Bennett. Twisted and spiralling notes make up the unorthodox breakdown which is indeed a rollercoaster ride.

Mamalarky have also unveiled an accompanying animated video to go along with the single. Directed by Alex Futtersak, you can watch it down below.
