It’s been five years since Benjamin Clementine released his second album I Tell a Fly. Since that time, the London artist was cast in the 2021 film Dune. However, when it came to releasing music Clementine didn’t release loads at all. In 2018 he unveiled the song ‘Eternity’, but went quiet. Last month we finally got new music from the singer and musician with the song ‘Copening Weakend’. Now Benjamin Clementine has announced his third album titled And I Have Been, scheduled to drop October 28th via his Preserve Artists label. The LP is the first of two parts with the second record landing next year.

Benjamin Clemenine has also shared his latest single and video ‘Genesis’. Directed by Benjamin Seroussi, the visuals feature Clementine and a woman in a theatrical performance that depicts harmonious times before gradually moving towards that which becomes less loving. The video was filmed at Nicholas Lefebvre Studio in France.
