Music legends Soft Cell will release their fifth album Happiness Not Included on May 6th. The record follows their 2002 LP Cruelty Without Beauty.
Whilst a new album announcement is exciting enough, the synth-pop icons have also shared their new single and video ‘Purple Zone’ which is a collaborative song with none other than Pet Shop Boys. Directed by Yassa Khan, the visuals feature an array of people from various walks of life and backgrounds, all singing along to the track. You can also find Soft Cell’s Marc Almond in a pink ice cream truck serving cones to kids. The track itself is highly nostalgic, taking it back to those 80s club days.
