Performed at the Louvre Museum in Paris, Louis Vuitton’s women’s Spring/Summer 2022 runway show appeared to be a theatrical presentation of fairytale meets goth, surely complimenting the setting of the iconic building. Everything from exaggerated structured skirts, studded head pieces, oversized tuxedo blazers and capes to extremely bold sunglasses appeared in the collection. Dreamy in some regards and haunting in others, Louis Vuitton’s latest show reflects the brand’s ability to deliver something imaginative and storybook like, exploring multiple possibilities.
