London-based Stella Talpo has released her new EP First Burn. Comprised of five tracks in total, the record finds Talpo taking listeners on a journey through her travels of rediscovery whilst delivering soulful vocals over an experimental R&B palette. First Burn reflects the growth and sound since her 2016 debut EP Space. We have a stream of First Burn below.

Touching on the EP, Stella Talpo said:

“First Burn is about the pursuit of self-discovery / self-actualisation as a personal, political and social act of rebellion The image of ‘burning’ comes from a lot of Rumi’s poems and quotes about how we must burn to make light; it also refers to our inner fire and inner voice and how we must burn away the layers around it to be able to sit deeper in our intuition.”
