Inspired by random conversations heard whilst riding on a Belfast bus, Irish band New Pagans have unveiled their new track ‘Charlie Has The Face Of A Saint’. Although the lyrics are quite the vivid story of guy dubbed Charlie who has problems fitting in school and more, New Pagans insist that it is left up for interpretation. A rushing sweep of alternative rock, the production on the track is quite crisp with lush guitar lines and a thick, rolling bass line all coinciding with sharp drum hits. With the vocals of singer Lyndsey McDougall adding a brightness to the tune, ‘Charlie Has The Face Of A Saint’ is a fantastic release from the rising band.
