When it comes to the mellow sounds of modern bossa nova, Parisian group Nouvelle Vague have been pumping out seducing tracks spanning back to their 2004 debut self-titled album. Having worked with a number of French singers including superstar Camille, the band went on to release four rock solid studio albums. Back with their new, upcoming EP Athol-Brose set to drop September 2nd, Nouvelle Vague have shared the title song which is a cover version of the classic Coceatu Twins’ track. Of course if you know anything about Nouvelle Vague, then you can be rest assured that their take on it is a lush rendition of nu-jazz and bossa, with the vocal duties taken on by Liset Alea.
