Without Frankie Knuckles, house music as we know it wouldn’t exist. Not only did he inspire many of the Chicago legends who helped to pioneer the sound, many of who were in attendance at his legendary nights at the Warehouse and the Power Plant in the Windy City, but the GRAMMY Award-winning producer has created some of the greatest recordings in the history of the genre, with hits under his belt such as ‘Tears’ with Satoshi Tomiie, ‘The Whistle Song’ and ‘Rain Falls’.

On November 30th, Def Mix and SoSure Music will release a vinyl copy of Frankie Knuckles’ single ‘Boyz!’ featuring Jamie Principle. Included in the pack are remixes from Def Mix mainstay David Morales and UK duo Farley & Heller. ‘Boyz!’ will be available digitally on January 29th, 2016.

In a press statement regarding Frankie Knuckle’s ‘Boyz!’, David Morales wrote:
