A while back Berlin-based producer Emika launched her #HowToMakeASymphony Kickstarter campaign which proceeds will go towards her first symphony inspired by the aesthetics of electronic music. In her latest video, she discusses writing music for string players which would replicate her use of echo in production.

Emika released her self-titled debut LP in 2011 on the Ninja Tune label, followed by her sophomore album DVA, also through the record company. Her 2015 recordings Klavírní and Drei were released via her company Emika Records.
