2015 marks 15 years since Merrill Nisker aka Peaches released her album The Teaches of Peaches under that stage name. With her sixth studio LP Rub set to land September 25th, the Canadian artist has shared a stream of the record via YouTube. Recorded in Los Angeles, guests on the album include Kim Gordon, Feist and Simonne Jones.

Pertaining to the new recording Rub, on her website Peaches wrote:

“After six years, I was excited about my lyrics again, about what Peaches was. I felt more comfortable living out any idea I wanted to try. We spent ten hours a day making beats, and whatever stuck, I would write on and develop. The only agenda was to make the best album we could.”
