Birmingham punk band Youth Man have unveiled info regarding their new EP titled Five Songs. Scheduled to land June 29th on Alcopop! Records, the band will release limited edition yellow and orange marble 12″ vinyl records, as well as via standard digital download.
The duo have also shared their new single ‘Statuesque’ which border the lines of alternative, punk and noise rock. The song will also be featured on their Five Songs EP.
Touching on Five Songs, singer Kaila Whyte stated:
“There are five new songs on it. We wrote a lot of stuff and discarded a lot of stuff – the five songs you’ll hear are the ones that made the cut. Most of the lyrics were written while we were invading Europe in a van on tour with Trash Talk, so a lot of it’s about cabin fever and fatigue and intoxication and stuff.”
