For Baltimore band Wye Oak’s ‘It Was Not Natural’ video, singer Jenn Wasner goes a bit supernatural. She makes utensils levitate whilst eating a fine cuisine consisting of a hot dog, peas and carrots, not to mention triggers flickering kitchen lights as she scrambles eggs. It should also be noted that this occurrences take place in the between Wasner standing among a bunch of men in purple latex suits in the forest. Sure it’s a bit trippy but isn’t good art supposed to be just that? The video is directed by Dan Huiting with the song taken from Wye Oak’s latest album The Louder I Call, The Faster It Runs, out now.
