Cambridge-raised singer Tyne made her debut a couple years ago with the song ‘Somebodies Something’. Having gone on to record tracks such as ‘Girlie’, ‘I’m Down’ and more, she makes her return with a new recording ‘Fight For Me To Stay’. Taken from her upcoming EP 111 out April 6th, the tune is an emotive electronic pop piece constructed around tender piano strums, subtle yet epic guitar riffs and Hip-Hop style drum programming, all topped with Tyne’s sensual vocals. ‘Fight For Me To Stay’ is a mature offering from the rising artist.
Touching on the track, Tyne mentioned:
“‘Fight for Me to Stay’ is about letting go and knowing when is a good time to leave something or someone. It was written at a time where I was getting worked up and low about the relationship I was in, and cutting ties was, to me, the only option.”
