Hailing from Hull is the rising artist Brodie Milner. Having previously released the tracks ‘God i’ and ‘Drinking Martinis in The Olive Gardens of Gethsemane’, Milner has already garnished play on BBC Radio 1, as well as 6 Music. With his forthcoming EP Holy Ghost Survivors Group (Part 1) out May 8th, 2026, Milner steps up with a new single called ‘Convenience Store Gospel’.

A head-bopping, bouncy mix of post-punk and indie, ‘Convenience Store Gospel’ cleverly deals with someone who wrestles with an onslaught of bad habits, continuing to ignore all logical suggestions to get better. The track harks back to those late 70s, early 80s traditions of great production, but also equally good songwriting. The tune further shines a spotlight on Brodie Milner, definitely making him one to watch in 2026.

Touching on the single, Brodie Milner stated:

“The song is about a man who is in an abusive relationship with his own vices, tries to eat himself better but is poisoned by food industry lobbyists in the process.”
