The recent news that Chase & Status will return to Together this summer for a landmark sixteen date main room residency at Amnesia has been met with a phenomenal response. Set to be the first time a bass act has hosted a weekly residency at a major Ibizan venue, Chase & Status at Together will be one of the most intense weekly residencies the island has ever seen. With one room down, we now turn our attention to the residents of Amnesia’s other legendary space; the terrace. In 2014 we have secured the services of three of the world’s most exciting and in demand acts to play on rotation; W&W, Sander van Doorn and Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano.
Thanks to seven outstanding performances for Armin van Buuren’s A State of Trance party at Privilege last summer, W&W saw their international profile grow tenfold. The Dutch DJ and production duo have formed a unique ability to fuse together the melodic elements of trance, the raw intensity of electro and the progressiveness of house, to create a sound that has been championed by Armin, Hardwell and Tiesto to name a few. At the end of 2013 W&W made their BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix debut and were justly rewarded with a 2014 residency at Las Vegas’s Hakkasan and Wet Republic. Joining us at Together for the very first time, W&W will take to Amnesia’s Terrace in one of our most anticipated residencies ever. With their next peak-time weapon, ‘Bigfoot’, labelled as their finest work to date, it’s clear that 2014 is the year of W&W.
As one of the planet’s most essential, influential and popular DJs, Sander van Doorn is synonymous with excellence. Last year we invited the Dutch powerhouse to Together and after two unforgettable performances it felt natural for him to be crowned as resident. Having previously destroyed the very best clubs Ibiza has to offer, Sander has already evolved into one of the White Isle’s favourite figures and is a natural entertainer behind the decks. On top of an extremely impressive touring schedule, SvD hosts one of the most popular radio shows in electronic music. Aired on over 55 stations worldwide, ‘Identity’ provides the perfect platform for Sander to connect with his mammoth fan base. Promising to add a whole new dimension to the night, Together is thrilled to welcome such an established superstar to its 2014 roster.
Boasting a telepathic level of musical chemistry, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano have firmly cemented themselves as one of the hottest names currently climbing the house music ladder. Their insatiable appetite for success and ability to deliver incredibly electrifying sets has led them to an outstanding selection of world famous clubs and festivals over the past twelve months. Last season, their chunky house-based grooves were evidently one of the most popular on the island via their Sexy By Nature residency, in addition to outstanding performances at South West Four, Ultra, Tomorrowland, Electric Daisy Carnival and BPM. Following this their efforts were rewarded with a high profile residency at Las Vegas’ Hakkasan, a headline show at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam, as well as a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix earlier this year. Besides their carnival-like performances, the key part to SJ&RM’s success is their trademark production with standout tracks including ‘Tribeca’, their remix of Tiesto’s ‘Lethal Industry’ and the upcoming release on Musical Freedom, ‘Circus’.
Together kicks off its 2014 season with the Opening Party on Tuesday 10th June.
