Australian band Tigertown knows how to make a catchy pop track. Whilst their latest single ‘Warriors’ is surely ripe with peppy, stadium-styled vocals, the video for the song depicts more of the sensual and deeper aspect of the cut. Elegantly directed by Imogen Grist, moody lighting topped with gels light up each band member in the intimate setting whilst hands slowly move up their faces. ‘Warriors’ is out now via Neon Gold Records / Atlantic.
Touching on the video, Tigertown wrote:
“When Imogen came to us with the idea for the video, we loved that it focused on the deeper meaning of the song,” Tigertown remarked about the video, “We imagined fireworks and dancing when we wrote it, but there are also some darker emotions at the song’s core. We feel the video captures both sides beautifully. We also got very good at jumping backwards onto safety mats.”
