German brothers Tiefschwarz are bringing their skills and years of music experience to the new Renaissance compilation “The Mix Collection”, scheduled to hit stores on the 8th of July. Divided into two discs, the new album is a hybrid of sounds and moods for the dancefloor and off of it. You can expect to hear music from Justus Köhncke, Terranova, Clarian and Tiefschwarz themselves, just to name a few. Renaissance’s “The Mix Collection” is a continuation of the company’s successful releases of compilations stemming back to their beginning 1992.
Ali and Basti Schwarz began their careers back in the early 90’s German club scene as DJs. After forming Tiefschwarz in 1997, the duo quickly became a force in the house and techno scene releasing music on Francois K’s Wave Music as well as Classic Music. They later went on to remix acts such as Cassius, Missy Elliott, Kelis, Masters at Work and more. They have mixed compilations for Facbric and Watergate Records. ‘The Mix Collection” is an addition to their lengthy discography that spans close to 15 years.
Renaissance “The Mix Collection:Tiefschwarz” is out July 8th.
