Isle Of Wight post-punk queens The Pill are back with a new track titled ‘Money Mullet’. This follows their previous single releases ‘Woman Driver’, and ‘Scaffolding Man’.
Staying more than true to form, The Pill deliver a high dose of wave splashing energy, with their signature cheeky lyricism. There is even a moment in the song where the track shifts to what sounds like a church hymn before jumping back into the power punching original rhythm. ‘Money Mullet’ is more goodness from their killer outfit.
Touching on ‘Money Mullet’, The Pill mentioned:
“Please be sure to show your hairdresser (your girlfriend) this song before embarking on another mullet,” says Lily, half of the duo. “Our 4th single, Money Mullet, is a hate song. Sorry, we just really don’t like them.”
