With their 2022 debut album Reeling earning them critical praise and chart success, The Mysterines now make their return in 2023 with a new single titled ‘Begin Again’. The track will be featured on their upcoming sophomore LP.

‘Begin Again’ is a punchy alternative piece with lyrics that transport listeners into places far beyond that of physical location, more like a world of the immediately unknown. The production of the track is fantastic with the vocals of front woman Lia Metcalfe instantly capturing.

The Mysterines have also shared a video for ‘Begin Again’ which you can watch down at the bottom.

Touching on the single, Lia Metcalfe mentioned:

“Written during a full moon in a barn in the West Country, ‘Begin Again’ felt like finding a key to the spirit realm the evening it arrived. It felt like I was embarking on a surreal journey of self-dissolution; think of the first verse as a set of instructions and see how far reality stretches.”
