The Hives are scheduled to release their sixth LP The Death of Randy Fitzsimmons on August 11th via their Disques Hives imprint. The Swedish band gave fans a taste of what to expect with their singles ‘Bogus Operandi’ and ‘Countdown to Shutdown’. They now unveil the third track titled ‘Rigor Mortis Radio’.

Whilst ‘Countdown to Shutdown’ pulled from the band’s punk roots, ‘Rigor Mortis Radio’ is more of a straight ahead, no frills rock & roll banger that is aided by a whole heap of cheeky lyrics. This is one of those songs that will go down well during their grand live shows. The foot stomping instrumentation along with the sing-along chorus is a combination that works like gang busters.
