Music writer John Doran has interviewed some of the most influential artists and musicians in the UK for the Noisey series “The British Masters”. Past guests have included Tricky, John Lydon, Adam Ant and more. For the recent episode, Doran talks to none other than Dizzee Rascal himself. Dizzee’s debut album “Boy in da Corner” helped to take the sound of grime to the mainstream with songs that painted a picture of the darker side of London and an unorthodox sound like no other. The Mercury Prize winning “Boy in da Corner” is considered to be one of the best grime albums ever made. Dizzee Rascal has since gone on to dominate the charts with multiple Number 1 records.
