Detroit techno pioneer Derrick May will play live at the venue King King in Los Angeles for Scion’s Audio Visual night. Known as the Belleville Three, Derrick May, Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson crafted the worldwide sound known as techno music. May shot into international fame with his 1987 single “Strings of Life”, recorded under the name Rhythim is Rhythim. The song “Strings of Life” is considered a techno classic.
