Directed by Justin Gradin, the song itself is taken from their forthcoming debut album 'Their Prime', out May 25th on Sub Pop Records/Royal Mountain .

Detroit-born, Vancouver-based singer and musician Khari Wendell McClelland delivers a piece of history with his forthcoming album 'Freedom Singer', out April 27th. Delving into the journey of his great-great-great grandmother Kizzy who made the trek from the United States to Canada in the 1800s, the LP is a collection of songs that represent that time period and the possible accompaniment throughout her travel. JUNO Award-winning Canadian outfit Said The Whale have shared their new single 'Step Into The Darkness', taken from their forthcoming album 'As Long As Your Eyes Are Wide'. The song is a semi-melancholic, semi-hopeful look at a past love, lifted by swirling indie pop production. Regarding 'Step Into The Darkness', Ben Worcester wrote: "Step Into The Darkness" was written after a devastating break-up with my girlfriend of six years. The song is me reaching out to comfort my love, reassuring her that she is safe and despite the immense sadness and feeling of loss, perhaps good things will come. We got back together shortly thereafter."
