Music icon Tricky is gearing up for the release of his new album 'Fall To Pieces', landing September 4th via his False Idols label. He has also shared the video for his track 'I'm In The Doorway' featuring Oh Land, which is featured on the upcoming LP. Directed by Mateusz Miszczyński, the video features a woman driving a car whilst blindfolded with clips flashing to her as a young girl. Eventually the woman and her as a youth meet at a certain point, with the younger version of herself pointing a gun towards the car she is driving.
With his new autobiography 'Hell Is Around The Corner' currently out now through Blink Publishing, Tricky will also release his new EP '20,20' on March 6th via his False Idols imprint. The Bristol-born artist previously shared the leading single titled 'Makes Me Wonder' featuring Marta. Tricky has collaborated with Jaga Buyan to launch the new clothing line Obia. Offering unique, hand-dyed attire featuring drawings and lyrics hand-painted by Tricky, the content on each piece will be eventually become songs. In regards to this new venture, Tricky wrote:
"I've wanted to do clothing for many years. For my first album I created Tricky Wear but it didn't work out exactly how I wanted. I've known Jaga for many years and she knows what I like and what I don't, so working with her is what I needed to get this right. Moving forwards when writing new lyrics for an album, instead of losing bits of paper when on the road and in hotel rooms, I can send lyrics straight to Jaga and the words from Obia clothing will eventually become a song - real art clothing."
