Toronto-born producer, writer, DJ and label boss Eva Shaw returns with a banger titled 'RAW' which features fellow T.Dot emcees Jaay Cee and G Milla. Musically the track weaves between trap, grime and drill with both rappers going back to back and absolutely flipping various styles and cadences.

Swedish artist Melanie Mohlkert aka CRONICLE isn't one to fall victim to the constraints of musical boundaries. Whilst many fans remember her as the front woman of the Stockholm punk-pop band Tantrum to Blind, a group who graced the screens of MTV, her latest venture finds the versatile singer delivering a euphoric mixture of R&B, trap and pop that burns with the same flaming blaze that she has brought to the world of rock and even emo.
Paris-raised, Berlin-based artist Aime Simone has shared his new track 'Strange Inside', taken from his forthcoming debut album 'Say Yes, Say No', landing July 31st. Written during the Covid-19 lockdown, Simone places post-punk guitar lines on top of trap-style drums whilst delivering chilling melodies.
With a body of work spanning the past four years including his 2018 EP 'Yomi', Newcastle producer Xaatu has crossed various boundaries stylistically with a sound embodying electronica, trap, grime and more. An alchemy of rhythms, the artist now steps up with his latest single titled 'Save Me'. Unleashing a fury of bouncy drum kicks, running hi hats and winding synth lines, there are also multiple and appropriately placed drops that will surely burn down the raves.
Philly producer Marshmello and Atlanta's trap king Southside come together for the song and video 'Been Thru This Before'. If the collab wasn't enough, they also enlisted the landlord himself, London rapper Giggs and Brooklyn's SAINt JHN to add their vocal touches to the bass-shaking tune. The video is directed by Myles Whittingham and features SAINt JHN and Giggs outside a cabin in the woods whilst surrounded by beautiful women. There is a scene where some of the women are stirring some weird green concoction, perhaps some elixir of sorts. Never the less you can peep the vid down at the bottom.
A.I.W.C (Aliens in Wolves Clothing) is the moniker of singer Oprah Pierre. With a musical history rooted in everything from Dolly Parton to Aretha Franklin, her debut track 'Senseless Drama' reflects her refusal to be pigeonholed in any box. With a production aesthetic that could be dubbed as interplanetary R&B meeting space-aged trap, A.I.W.C bounces on the track with the soul of a seasoned singer and the styling that of a more than confident emcee. Quite the introduction, we're definitely keeping our eyes on this promising star.
Having released his debut track 'Fool For You' earlier this year, London's Jay Nebula steps up with his second single titled 'Liars'. For this one, Jay has enlisted North London singer Raphaella to contribute vocals. With the production weaving between bass, trap and pop, 'Liars' is a banger that will more than likely go over well in the mainstream arena.
