E^ST Has Released Her New EP ‘Life Ain’t Always Roses’

Mel Bester aka E^ST has released her new EP 'Life Ain't Always Roses'. Comprised of seven cuts, the singer enlisted the likes of M-Phazes, Japanese Wallpaper and Dann Hume to handle the production. Pumping out a number of charismatic pop pieces, some consisting of Hip-Hop drum style underlays, Bester exhibits crafty songwriting as well sly vocal performances that she confidently owns with pride. The EP also includes her new single 'Friends', which is available for streaming below.

Toronto’s Lo Lo Returns with ‘Convenient’

Canadian act Lo Lo makes her return with her head-bopping single 'Convenient'. Straddling the lines between pop and RnB, the singer drops some unfortunate news to a perceived lover who was actually nothing more than, as she puts it, something of a pass of time whilst thinking of her ex. Lo Lo has shared the lyric video to the song which you can check out below.

Metric ‘Dressed to Suppress’ Video

It's been three years since Canadian band Metric released their sixth album 'Pagans in Vegas'. While the record itself was received with mixed reviews, the band is back with their new single 'Dressed to Suppress', which is taken from a new album that is apparently in the works. The group has even unveiled a new video to the track. Keeping it simple, the stark black and white visuals feature the band on stage performing the cut. Kenny Glasgow to Release ‘Acid Discharge’ Single

Toronto DJ and producer Kenny Glasgow is set to release his new single 'Acid Discharge' via My Favorite Robot’s MFR Red. Like the title suggests, Glasgow goes head-in with a blast of club-powering acid house. Chopping in half the traditional 4x4 drums, the husky kicks swing with skippy hi-hats as the consistent acid twist leads this dance floor piece of arsenal. 'Acid Discharge' will get released June 6th.

The Weeknd ‘Call Out My Name’ Video

After releasing his 'My Dear Melancholy' EP, The Weeknd received echoed statements among fans that he had returned to his old sound that gripped listeners from the start. Now The Weeknd unveils the video for the lead-off single 'Call Out My Name'. Directed by Grant Singer, scenes shift between a dark, lonely street setting flooded with bats and a forest containing frozen animals, as well as a masked woman. In between all of this, The Weeknd gives a dramatic performance which many would attribute to the break-up of him and Selena Gomez. Never the less, he has another hit on his hands. Dylan Releases Her New Album ‘Sauvignon and a Kimono’

Over the past year Toronto's Dylan has dropped a number of high powered singles, including 'Mimosa', 'American Nightmare' and more. She has now unveiled her debut LP 'Sauvignon and a Kimono'. Weaving together the sounds of 80s pop, garage rock, punk and more, the new work personally chronicles the last three year period of her trials, tribulations and victories. Again maintaining level high production on the LP, Dylan is definitely ready to embrace stardom.

Art Department to Release New ‘Sour Jazz’ EP

Canadian DJ and producer Jonny White has spent the past few years touring around the world with his Art Department project. Establishing himself as power player in electronica, White will finally release his first solo EP in three years time. His new record titled 'Sour Jazz' is a three song piece that blends deep house, club jacking techno and even elements of dub. The EP also features the song 'Roots Deep', a collaboration track with the legendary Todd Terry and Roland Clark. Whilst Jonny White is clearly flexing his production muscle, incorporating sophisticated programming, his mission still remains to shake up the dance floor. 'Sour Jazz' will land March 30th via his No. 19 Music imprint.

DYLYN Shares Her 80s-Inspired Pop Cut ‘Wolf

Toronto singer DYLYN makes her return with her latest track 'Wolf'. Incorporating 80s synths, the vibrant electro pop bit musically glistens whilst the talented vocalist sings of the aftermath of a relationship's demise.
