The Raconteurs give us that unadulterated sound of Detroit rock & roll with their new single 'Bored and Razed'. The song is taken from their upcoming LP 'HELP US STRANGER', which is out June 21st via Third Man Records. Exploding with monster guitar riffs, thundering drums and a big, stadium chorus, the boys channel classic hard rock influences with subtle elements of prog and psychedelic, resulting in one powerhouse of a single. The Raconteurs are definitely back in full swing.
The Raconteurs will release their long-awaited LP 'HELP US STRANGER' on June 21st. This will mark their third album, since dropping 2008's 'Consolers of the Lonely'. Whilst the term long over due is an understatement, the group have also shared the video for their latest track 'Help Me Stranger'. Directed by Yasuhiko Shimizu, clips of the band performing the song are interwoven with scenes of The Raconteurs in random places and spaces in a frozen position before quickly looking at the camera, all in sync.
With their new album 'HELP US STRANGER' out June 21st on Third Man Records, The Raconteurs have shared their new single 'Hey Gyp (Dig The Slowness)'. The track follows the band's previously released cut 'Now That You're Gone'. Beginning with a running drum pattern, the track glides into a raw and unorthodox garage rock lane with slices of Dixie sprinkled in the mix.
Detroit rockers The Raconteurs has not released an album since 2008. Whilst Jack White has of course released solo LPs within that time frame, the band have finally announced news regarding their new album 'HELP US STRANGER'.
