Montreal duo Hollis P Monroe and Overnite known together as The Black 80s will release their album 'Heart to Art' on September 16th via Sonar Kollectiv. With both acts already making their mark in the house scene, their new album is laced with a heavy dose of soul and future jazz, brilliantly weaved around 4x4-driven kicks. Ten tracks in total, the album includes guests Dominik Marz and Yannick Labbé. Vibrant and unquestionably rhythmical, the duo's perfect bridging of classic New York-style house with a forward-thinking deep embedding is a nourishment for the ears and moveable for the feet.

Over the past five years Budapest-based artist Mïus has dropped a nice selection of cutting edge electronica. It was no surprise that his LP 'Eigengrau', released via Sonar Kollectiv was going to be a true work of art. Mïus now releases the track 'Strobe & Noise' as a single, which is definitely one of the highlight cuts on the LP. The moody electronic dealing features the hypnotic vocals of Kasia Kowalczyk. Included in the single pack is a remix by The Black 80s, which is a huskier rework in terms of synths and drum programming, but no less deep. You can preview a stream of 'Strobe & Noise' below. Enjoy!
