Palo Duro ‘Darken the Glow’ Video

Having led the band Gold Beach, Michael J Winningham aka Palo Duro is gearing up for the release of his new album 'Ryou Cannon', landing September 29th. As we patiently await the date, the Austin-based aritst has shared a cheeky video for his single 'Darken the Glow'. What you have here is a vintage style mash up dedicated to old school Japanese films and video games backed by one catchy groove. Check it out.

Stream Sweet Spirit’s ‘The Power’

There is the assumption that nice people tend to finish last. Well after listening to Sweet Spirit's 'The Power', there may actually be something to that. Taken from the Austin band's forthcoming album 'St. Mojo', Sabrina Ellis sings of doing all of the 'bad' things in school yet not only had more fun than the good girl but also garnished attention at her graduation. Now this may not be a template that many parents would encourage their kids to follow throughout their school years, but aside from probably having more of a blast than we could ever have, Ellis and Sweet Spirit have also rovided a rocking soundtrack to the experience.

Austin's Roger Sellers aka Bayonne has shared a new single titled 'Fallss', a precursor to his forthcoming show in London set for February 15th at The Waiting Room. Like his previous work on his LP 'Primitives', 'Fallss' remains orchestrated around dreamy production, tightly sewn with extra intricate threading and a magical build-up that is a pure treat.

Leopold and His Fiction ‘I’m Caving In’ Video

Austin's Leopold and His Fiction unveil their video for the track 'I’m Caving In', which is taken from their forthcoming LP 'Darling Destroyer' out January 20, 2017. The band perform the song in what appears to be a cross between a church and a fun house as kaleidoscopic effects flash throughout various clips. There are also television sets in the place with frontman Daniel James looking at himself on the screens. Somewhat visually trippy, no one can deny that the song is an absolutely killer garage rock cut. Have a look.

Bayonne ‘Living Room’ Video

Roger Sellers aka Bayonne brings forth his new video for the track 'Living Room'. Composed of trippy animation courtesy of Man Mantis of Gorilla Nun Creative, the visuals coincide with the feel of Bayonne's dreamy pop exploration. The track is taken from his debut LP 'Primitives', out November 4th.

Check Out Keeper’s ‘Not Done’

Keeper is the Austin trio comprised of Erin Jantzen, Yadira Brown and Camille Thomison. Placing an emphasis on harmony within the spectrum of varied electronica, Keeper now share their latest record 'Not Done', a soulful future house track produced by MoonDoctor. Gary Clark Jr. ‘Church’ Video

For his latest album 'The Story Of Sonny Boy Slim', Gary Clark Jr. dug deep into the musical heritage of the American South, incorporating elements of blues, gospel and rock, with soul leading the bulk of the LP. This is the video for his song 'Church'. Directed by Danny Clinch, the black and white visuals are shot in a minimal manner with Gary Clark Jr. and two singers performing the song in a yard, whilst in front of a white backdrop. Khruangbin Announce New Album ‘The Universe Smiles Upon You’

One band that has been on our radar for sometime now is the Texas-based band Khruangbin. Already wowing listeners with recordings such as 'The Infamous Bill' and 'A Calf Born In Winter', Khruangbin is now gearing up for the release of their debut album 'The Universe Smiles Upon You'. Recording the LP in a barn in the Texas countryside, the Houston-based band further delve into the sound of 60s Thai funk, surf-rock and exotica. Although known for their instrumentals, 'The Universe Smiles Upon You' will feature a number of vocal cuts.
