Poland-Based DEAS Goes Deep with His ‘Pluton’ EP

Polish producer DEAS has been one of the go-to acts for some of the best techno music coming out of the country. With an already impressive string of releases, he has now dropped his latest EP 'Pluton'. Venturing onto the cosmic side of techno, the title track is built on elongated synths, pumping 4x4 kicks and classic 80s snares. There is also a husky remix courtesy of producer Robert S, whose version is a stretching ride of dark minimalism. DEAS' 'Plan X' is a further drive into nocturnal territory as the song flurries with intensity. This release is for those who love their techno raw and unfiltered. The 'Pluton' EP is currently out on Secret Room Records.

My Digital Enemy Bring Forth Their Rave-Driven Single ‘Inside Of Me’

London team My Digital Enemy deliver a blast for the raves with their track 'Inside Of Me'. With the vocals written by MNEK, punchy piano stabs combined with high stomping 4x4 drum programming, the song emits elements of the classic sounds of Detroit techno made legendary by Kevin Saunderson's Inner City. 'Inside Of Me' has already been championed by Pete Tong and Annie Mac.

Cocoon at The Asylum, October 29th, Liverpool

This year’s instalment sees the return of techno legend Sven Vath, renowned as a risk taking visionary and innovator and master creator of the infamous Cocoon parties, he’ll be at the helm performing a very special extended set, joined by one of the hottest techno artists on the circuit, who following an array of famed sets over the last few year and acclaimed productions on Cocoon Recordings, has firmly established himself as a major player - Ilario Alicante. Bringing some northern clout to the proceedings is Tim Green who makes his Asylum debut, his ability to manoeuvre through the realms of house and techno makes his sound unmistakable and completing the bill is Asylum regular Jemmy.

Preview Kenny Glasgow’s ‘Circus Tales Remixes’

Kenny Glasgow is comfortably gunning for the best electronica album of 2016. Having released his acclaimed 'Circus Tales' back in July of this year, tracks taken from the LP has now gotten a remix makeover with the 'Circus Tales Remixes' package. Beginning the release is a dark and intense techno stomper of 'Interactive Entertainment' by Unsubscribe, the production team of Dave Clarke and Jonas Uittenbosch aka Mr. Jones. Brett Johnson reconstructs 'Prototype' into a hypnotic and entrancing house bit, led by run-on drums and spaced-out sprinklings. Acid Mondays round out the release with a slippery and hedonistic techno reworking of Glasgow's 'Action Re-Action'. Out on No. 19 Music, you an stream 'Circus Tales Remixes' below.

Steve Lawler at Ministry of Sound, September 24th, London

Nightowl returns to Ministry of Sound on Saturday 24th September - Arguably boasting their biggest line up to date, bringing Steve Lawler to the club... Given his legacy, it comes as no surprise that Lawler will be closing the final Dolby Atmos show of 2016, which has pushed the boundaries of today’s clubbing landscape by delivering a one-of-a-kind, unique sound experience. Following in the footsteps of London Elektricity, Flux Pavillion and Doorly, Steve will also be joined by ‘Hot Creations’ affiliate and Outcross Records label boss, Miguel Campell, with Denny and Nightowl residents TTandom and Jamie Hayhoe in support.
