Swedish trio Spunsugar have shared their new single 'Run', a fiery post-punk meets alternative handing laced with a dash of shoegaze. With the song instantly launching into powering guitar riffs with a rumbling bass line and hard-hitting drumming shortly following, the lyrics address running away from what is perceived is fearful things, whether situational or taught.
Swedish duo The Magnettes unveil the video for their current single 'American'. Directed by Martin Åhlin along with The Magnettes themselves, the stylishly dressed ladies are filmed in a motel room in some clips whilst driving a pickup truck in others, which seems to reflect a particular representation of Americana. With the song being another mountainous pop cut, it wouldn't be farfetched to see the single get placement for films or adverts.
Stockholm duo Lennixx, comprised of Hanna Larsson and Andrea Kallström, follow-up their previous track 'Bold Me' with a new single titled 'Empty Room'. A tender R&B ballad, the song mainly consists of acoustic guitar play and light keys. There are no drums in the song, leaving the production open and spacious with the main emphasis placed on the gorgeous vocals.

Swedish artist Melanie Mohlkert aka CRONICLE isn't one to fall victim to the constraints of musical boundaries. Whilst many fans remember her as the front woman of the Stockholm punk-pop band Tantrum to Blind, a group who graced the screens of MTV, her latest venture finds the versatile singer delivering a euphoric mixture of R&B, trap and pop that burns with the same flaming blaze that she has brought to the world of rock and even emo.
Swedish band The Magnettes have unveiled a new single dubbed 'American'. Like mountainous records of the 80s, the track is mountainous in sound, with the song stacked with grand production including strings, thundering drums, sly guitar lines and infectious, catchy melodies. 'American' is one of those tunes that will not only play extremely well during live shows, but one where you can hear in movies, adverts and television series. The Magnettes continue to take their sound to new levels proving that they are only getting better and bigger with time.
Last month Swedish outfit Hey Elbow dropped their single 'Missit', a moody and cinematic slice of indie that was not only experimental, but musically towering. The trio have now returned with their latest offering 'Nurture/Aptitude'. Whilst a nocturnal blanket lay above the charging production, the band manages to infuse a sense of pop without losing their core sound.
Releasing their single pack 'Tranås/Stenslanda' a few months back, Swedish duo Kite have made their return with a new song titled 'Bliss'. Teaming-up with Blanck Mass for the production, the track has a juxtaposition of dark, grinding synth bass tones and more ethereal layers, whilst thundering drums add a racing energy. The tune is a collage of synthpop, new wave, industrial and 90s dance that all act with a cohesiveness.
Stockholm vocalist JÁNA makes her return with a new track titled 'Lotus', the follow-up to her previously released song 'Wild Roses'. Produced and co-written by Little Dragon's Erik Bodin, the single touches on delving beneath the physicality of beauty and exploring one's depth and inner core.
Already known dropping hit tracks such as 'Run On Love' featuring Tove Lo, Stockholm's Lucas Nord steps forth with his new single 'No One Even Knows My Name' featuring Husky. A chilled dance offering, the song is built on serene synths as a pulsing bass line runs through the production, all stacked above upbeat 4x4 drums. Husky's tender vocals also give the tune a pop flair.
