It was a rough ride initially for Hedi Slimane taking on the job as creative director for Celine. Accused of still creating work that resembled his past Saint Laurent pieces, for the men's summer 2020 collection, Slimane draws inspiration from the 70s with classic tailored suits and tuxedos. For the campaign video, Hedi heads to the French Riviera, shooting black and white stills of the models and mixing the pics with landscapes, statues and more. Of course there is still hints of his rock & roll vision with snakeskin jackets added into the mix. Check it out.
