Post-punk, synth-wave, industrial, techno - Barcelona's SDH (Semiotics Department of Heteronym) are some of the best to craft the sound bursting from Spain. Comprised of Andrea P. Latorre and Sergi Algiz, label owners of Cønjuntø Vacíø and members of the cutting edge band Wind Atlas, their SDH project is the ultimate rush of haunting, heavy electronica layered with a synth-pop spreading, creating the ultimate balance between light and dark. Questioning the idea of fiction, SDH's sound is a continuing ride through illusory and realism. With their new EP 'Tell Them' out March 9th on Avant! Records, Semiotics Department of Heteronym are true heroes of electronic and post-punk alchemy.

Who would have knew that Spain-based band Hinds were into football? Well, whether they are or not, the foursome have taken to the field in their latest video 'New For You'. Now if you're expecting to see plays on the level of Lionel Messi, then you might be quickly disappointed, however, if you want to see the girls having a great time then look no further. The video is directed by Carlotta Cosials, with the song taken from Hinds' forthcoming album 'I Don't Run'.
Hailing from Pamplona, Spain is Piek, a producer whose music is quite a lovely ride through the realms of electronica, with the artist also creating music for advertising. Adding a blend of Hip-Hop, soul, downtempo and more, his debut LP 'Despertar' will get released on February 20th via Sincopat. The new work features guest appearances by Ryan Roush, Cheney, Ria and more.
Barcelona band Seward team up with London's LV for a remix of their single 'A Summer'. Definitely on the experimental side of electronica, the minimal rework is driven by a melodic piano riff decorated with unconventional tweaks in the premiere LV fashion. The original version is taken from Sewards's LP 'Second Two: Chapter Home', which is out now via NAIM Records. Have a listen.

The track is taken from Hinds' album 'Leave Me Alone' which was released earlier this year via Mom + Pop. Have a look.
