Stream the New Sonitus EP ‘Kleptocracy’
It would be highly unfair to simply label East London band Sonitus as one who creates one particular sound of rock. Whilst they indeed push the pedal to a full throttle of alternative, there flourishing melodies and switching instrumentation nods at everything from progressive metal to even hints of soul tones. However you choose to try to dissect it, it's simply good, quality rock and roll. This is evident with their debut EP 'Kleptocracy'. Consisting of 7 tracks in total, the release is a fiery whirlwind of racing guitars, hard-thumping drums and the reeling vocals of Russell Balogun, who delivers a graceful performance on top of the album's well-polished production. This is an impressive debut from a band who will be on everyone's brain extremely soon.
