D Double E ft. Skepta ‘Nang’ Video

There is no question that East London's D Double E is a legend in grime. Aside from helping to firmly lay down a foundation for the scene, some of his verses are the most memorable in grime. The Newham General member teams up with the big man himself Skepta for the single and video 'Nang'. Directed by Ed Hubert, D Double and Skepta pass the mic back in forth in an old school warehouse rave setting. The song is taken from D Double E's upcoming solo album 'Jackuum!'. Check it out.

Skepta ‘Man’ Video

Boy Better Know's Skepta continues to run with the torch for the grime scene as he unleashes the video for his song 'Man'. Replicating the days when grime sets used to be recorded on camcorders, Skepta and the team mash up the stage and then continue the party backstage as the footage is documented with Russian subtitles. There are also clips of crew members having a run in with the police. The video is like a combination of old school road life with a punk aesthetic. 'Man' is taken from Skepta's album 'Konnichiwa'. Uniqlo Enlist Skepta and More as Cultural Ambassadors for New Campaign

Japanese clothing company Uniqlo are celebrating the diversity of London with their new 'This Way To Utopia' campaign. The brand has chosen six cultural ambassadors to star as the faces of the new ads, one being grime chief Skepta. The North London emcee will sit alongside BBC Radio 1's Benji B, clothing designer Hana Tajima, photographer Cate Underwood, transgender model Munroe Bergdorf and film director Sean Frank. Shot by Rankin, the campaign will also coincide with the reopening of the Uniqlo Oxford Street storefront in London. Uniqlo have also partnered with the Tate Modern for a series of upcoming events.

2015 MOBO Awards Share Full Performances

Partnering with Alizé for this year's MOBO Awards ceremony which was on the 4th of November in Leeds, the event featured a pack house with Stormzy taking two MOBOs home for Best Male Act and Best Male Grime Act. Skepta won Best Song, with fka Twigs winning Best Video. Ella Eyre earned the award for Best Female Act and Krept & Konan took away two MOBOs for Best Hip-Hop Act and Best Album.
