London band H.Grimace will release their debut album 'Self Architect' on April 7th via Opposite Number. Having already created a buzz with their 'Royal Hush' release back in 2016, the group now shares their explosive single 'Call It Out'. Rocking out with a sharp stab of alternative mixed with a dash of post punk, sonically the foursome is in pure stealth mode with powerful contant and no-nonsense production that is more than exciting.
San Francisco band Silent Pictures have released their new album 'Let it Begin'. Stirring together psych, shoe gaze and garage, the 12-song LP is raw in delivery and spunky in instrumentation. Whilst the beauty of the album does explode through its gritty sonics, there is also flex and stretching moments that comes from the experience of playing for many years. In a way, Silent Pictures are letting loose with ease, as tracks effortlessly shift from raging guitar shredding and distortion on tunes like 'Time Has Broken' to delicate melodies on songs such as 'Far From Reach'.
