Hot Since 82 and Rudimental have joined forces for the track 'Be Strong'. An intergalactic offering of club with deep house glazings, the tune is built on spacey synths, a thundering bass line and stomping 4x4 kicks. The vocal sample adds a nice touch with of course the song not being without an infamous drop.
With their latest album 'We The Generation' currently out now, London group Rudimental have now shared a Machinedrum remix of one of the highlight tracks on the LP, 'Rumour Mill'. Smooth as satin, Machinedrum delivers a blend of soulful house, garage and semi-trap. The song features Rudimental mainstay Anne-Marie and Will Heard on the vocals. Preview the remnix down below.
At this point there have been remixes of the Rudimental and Ed Sheeran track 'Lay It All On Me' from Eats Everything on down to Tarrus Riley. Now the London band brings forth a new version featuring a few unexpected guests. Chicago rapper Vic Mensa and Detroit's Big Sean have jumped on the tune adding their own particular spice. Although beat isn't necessarily catered to the dance floor, it's still a nice, cool-out jam to lay back and nod to. The original version of the song is taken from Rudimental's 'We The Generation', which is out now on Black Butter Records. Have a listen.
