Pixies Launch Art Contest for Forthcoming “Indie Cindy” Album

Pixies are involving their fans in the creative process of their forthcoming album "Indie Cindy" by launching a cover art contest. The band members are looking for supporters to create an 11" X 17" (279mm x 432mm) design incorporating the Pixies logo and the "Indie Cindy" title. Each submission will be judged by Pixies and artist/designer Vaughan Oliver, who is responsible for all of the past Pixies album cover art. The winner will recieve $500 and their design featured on a limited-edition lithograph print, which will be available as a bonus purchase along with the new record. You can submit your design via the Creative Allies website. The competition deadline is April 10, 2014.
