Austin's Leopold and His Fiction unveil their video for the track 'I’m Caving In', which is taken from their forthcoming LP 'Darling Destroyer' out January 20, 2017. The band perform the song in what appears to be a cross between a church and a fun house as kaleidoscopic effects flash throughout various clips. There are also television sets in the place with frontman Daniel James looking at himself on the screens. Somewhat visually trippy, no one can deny that the song is an absolutely killer garage rock cut. Have a look.
Japan's Hotei teams up with rock and roll giant Iggy Pop for the track 'Walking Through The Night', which is taken from the LP 'Strangers'. Unveiling the video for the track, clips of a guy strolling the streets of Tokyo seeming to be fighting a temptation of sorts are interwoven between scenes of sword-swinging master and posters of Iggy Pop plastered throughout city walls.
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds' album 'Skeleton Tree' is definitely one of the highlight LPs of 2016. With their documentary 'One More Time With Feeling' appearing in cinemas again on December 1st, Nick Cave now unveils the video for the track 'Magneto', which is featured on the album. Similar to the previous 'Girl In Amber' video, this is also shot in black and white in the studio as a camera revolves around Cave on the piano. A forewarning, there are flashing lights in the video, but if you have no issues with it, then sit back and have a look...it is quite sleek.
