Canadian band Basement Revolver is a name that everyone need to know. Releasing their self-titled EP last year, their emotive serving of indie and alternative rock is of premium class with powerful lyrical content that leave lasting marks. With their new EP 'Agatha' landing July 21st Yellow K Records/fear of missing out records, Basement Revolver have now shared the second track taken from the upcoming recording called 'Mountains'. The intensely epic sound is a further raising of the latter showing a further maturity of the band who have already delivered one of the most solid releases of 2016.
Brooklyn band BIRDS are set to drop their new album 'Everything All At Once' on August 18th. Forthcoming on Greenway Records, the LP will get released on limited-edition vinyl and cassette, as well as digitally. The group have also shared a new single entitled 'Scatter' which will be featured on the album. Brooklyn band Fruit & Flowers have built a name for themselves grinding it out in the NYC circuit. Making their debut with the track 'Turquoise' a couple years back, they went on to drop the hazy 'Way Out' followed by the rocking post-punk song 'Out of Touch'. Lacing slick instrumentation and lush melodies over core punk, Fruit & Flowers are now ready to unleash their new EP 'Drug Tax' on June 30th. A soundtrack to the new BK, the record soars with racing punk guitar riffs, surf bass lines and firing drums. Factor in lush vocals and you an EP standing firm as the Great Wall of China.
L.A. band Sextile have delivered the second track taken from their forthcoming album 'Albeit Living', out July 14th on the felte imprint. The track titled 'Who Killed Six', is a raging punk meets surf rock hybrid pumped by winding guitar licks and hard hitting drums, all fronted by the in-your-face vocal style of Brady Keehn. Wrapped in political undertones, this is raw punk at it's finest.
When Leeds band NIGHT OWLS released their debut EP 'INFORMALDEHYDE', they were slinging out raw and loud sounds of grunge. Things have musically appeared to make a slight turn as the group have now unveiled their new track titled 'Out Of My Head'. Opting for more of a dreamy shoegaze fronting, gone are the fast, fuzzy guitar riffs but rather mellow strums and easing vocals. Definitely promising with their new direction, 'Out Of My Head' is out now via Till Deaf Do us Party Records.
Colour of Spring are gearing up for the release of their new self-titled EP, out June 23rd on House of Love Records. Having previously shared their dreamy tune 'Love', the Leeds-based band now unveil their latest shoegaze-driven track 'Sun'. There is just something fun and enjoyable about the music of Oakland band The Tambo Rays. Combining high-spirited pop with indie and even psychedelic, the group will release their new EP 'Recharge' on July 17th via OIM Records. With that being said, The Tambo Rays have also shared a video for their latest single 'Yes and No'. Directed by Frank Door, the group peform the song whilst drapped in check attire.
