Arctic Monkeys have unveiled the official video for their single ‘Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino’, …
London band H.Grimace have shared the video to their latest song 'In The Body'. Enlisting Georgina Starr as director, watching this is like watching a fine art piece on flexible women who make the average run of the mill yoga participant want to sit on the couch a binge on sweets all day long. There are even moves performed whilst blowing bubblegum. It's one thing to appreciate the fine act of yoga, but these lovely ladies have taken things to a new level.
Having previously covered much ground with their tracks 'Slow Morning' and 'Terminal’ North London band Lewisburg have dropped their new double A-side release 'Clear The Air / Wasted'. Whilst 'Wasted' plays with a spacious and melancholic indie folk meets country rotation, 'Clear The Air' launches into more of a triumphant pull-out of hazy guitar liners and smokey vocals, creating a nice balance between both tunes. Recorded in Haringey, the record is out via Lost In The Manor. Have a listen.
London's CHILDCARE have impressed us in the past dropping great records like 'Kiss?' and 'Put Down Your Pen'. Now not only returning with their latest single 'Magazines', the band have also dropped their new EP titled "Luckyucker'. While we'll let you sort out the title, the record is a five track release that finds CHILDCARE operating as a well-oiled, fine-tuned machine pumping out slick and polished indie at its finest. They have even recorded a brilliant version of the classic Wayne Wonder reggae cut 'No Letting Go'. Fusing bright pop melodies with illustrious production courtesy of Mr. BJ Jackson (Island, Little White Things, Indigo Husk and more), CHILDCARE's recent work reconfirm why they are definitely one of the more exciting bands on the scene at the moment.
Slothrust provide the visuals to their single 'Double Down', also highlighting how much of terror frontwoman Leah Wellbaum can be when at a local launderette. Aside from dancing in the place, she throws people's freshly cleaned clothes out of the basket and onto the floor, not to mention jumps on top of the machines kicking lids. Now mind you, there isn't a lot to do while waiting on clothes to wash, but when Wellbaum eventually elevates to the ceiling, then that becomes the final straw with customers.

Indie band The Bongo Club bring a live element to their latest video 'What You Want Us To Be'. You can catch the band performing the track in various venues and establishments in front of crowds that seem to be losing their minds at every location. The song itself is featured on The Bongo Club's current LP 'Anybody Have A Lighter?'. Check it out.
The Kooks unveil the video to their single 'All The Time' which is taken from their forthcoming album 'Let’s Go Sunshine'. The story revolves around a girl who has gotten into a heated argument with her mother and decides to leave home. Rather than soaking about the situation, she proceeds to enjoy a day of skateboarding around the town, living life before ending back at her trailer park lot in which she came from.
Having released previous tracks like 'Lights Out' and 'Drain You', Leeds band Dead Naked Hippies make their return in 2018 with their latest post-punk meets alternative offering 'Guillotine'. With guitar change-ups transitioning from a subtle peace to fiery and explosive, the tune is spearheaded by the haunting and spunky vocal performance of singer Lucy Jowett. Currently out now, the track comes ahead of their Sebright Arms show in London, happening on the 21st of June.
Dorothy is rock and roll; the kind of rock and roll that was once a soundtrack the hedonistic streets of Sunset Blvd. This is that gritty and raw rock that oozed from the roads of Detroit, the Lower East Side of Manhattan and the historic city of Nashville; that in your face rock that pumps with sheer attitude. Fronted by Budapest-born, San Diego-raised Dorothy Martin, the group is one of the most dynamic bands to emerge in the past four years. They have not only managed to land in the mainstream charts but they did it on their own terms.
