WRONG Festival, Various Venues, April 28th, Liverpool Dockland

WRONG Festival are extremely pleased to announce the full line up for the unmissable second-year outing of the vital oddball rock music festival. Set to take place on the 28th of April 2018 at Liverpool Docklands, they’ll be shining a spotlight on talent from both the burgeoning local, and UK-wide, Freakscene. Joining the already-announced 2018 headliners, cult Cardiff rock band FUTURE OF THE LEFT (feat. members of Mclusky and Million Dead), organisers are pleased to reveal that MUGSTAR will be performing alongside DAMO SUZUKI as his backing band for the evening.

Tijuana-based duo Mint Field are a musical pair who should definitely be on your radar. With their debut LP 'Pasar De Las Luces' landing Feb 23rd on Innovative Leisure, these girls are delivering excellent psych, shoegaze and dream pop sounds. Their latest single 'Quiero Otoño de Nuevo' is a perfect reflection of these styles whipped into one exciting package. Mint Field have also shared the video to 'Quiero Otoño de Nuevo'. The visuals feature a guy who facilitates the imagery on billboards, eventually finding himself struggling to remove a message that has now popped up on the screen, broadcasting it to the the outside world. You definitely wouldn't want to be in his position! And for the record, pressing the ESC button on the keyboard clearly doesn't always solve the problem. Have a look.

One of the albums that we're looking forward to in 2018 is Anna von Hausswolff's 'Dead Magic', out March 2nd via City Slang. Having previously shared her incredible single 'The Mysterious Vanishing of Electra', the Swedish artist now unveils the video. Directed by Anna's sister Maria von Hausswolff, the haunting imagery stars Siri Wigzell, who walks through the night to dig up Anna von Hausswolff from a burial. Von Hausswolff then runs up the road like a zombie regaining life. It's a chilling piece. Have a look.

Jack White Announces New Album ‘BOARDING HOUSE REACH’

Jack White has announced the release of his new album 'BOARDING HOUSE REACH', landing March 23rd via Third Man/Columbia. The forthcoming record finds White returning to his early beginnings of music making using the same gear that he crafted songs on when he was fifteen years old. Meshing together a variety of styles including rock, electronica, funk, blues, Hip-Hop and more, 'BOARDING HOUSE REACH' was recorded in White's Third Man Studios in Nashville, as well as in New York City and Los Angeles. Jack White will also release a few copies of the new album as a limited edition package which includes a special vinyl pressing and a 12" x 24" insert.
