L.A. band ExSage have announced the release of their new EP 'Total Devotion', scheduled to land September 22nd. The recording has also come with a major change in that, rather than operating as a duo, singer Kate Clover has now taken the mantle to deliver the project solo. Unleashing the first track from the upcoming work titled 'Under Your Spell', the group delivers high-powered rock & roll, displaying a maturity in their sound, yet still embracing their punk roots. Clover sounds better than ever leading the charge as fiery guitar riffs storms from shadows, pushing the song as a true dominating force. You can stream 'Under Your Spell' down at the bottom.
It's one thing to maybe come across one Michael Jackson impersonator in your time, but to feature two in the same setting; this may sound like an absurd dream of Hollywood Blvd., but in fact it is the latest video by Hanni El Khatib titled 'Paralyzed'. Directed by Daniel Pappas, there is a blonde woman featured in the vid who sings Hanni El Khatib's part whilst the MJ look-a-likes get busy behind her performing a few signature dance moves of the original Mike. The song is taken from Hanni El Khatib's latest album ' Savage Times', out now via Innovative Leisure.
Nottingham band BABE PUNCH may only be in their teens but do this group rock …
NYC band Ice Balloons are consistently dubbed as a super group. To an extent that may be true but the group are first and foremost friends who have come together to create art with absolute freedom and room to explore. Consisting of Sean Kennerly of Samiam, TV On The Radio’s Kyp Malone, Sean Powell of Fuckemos, Midnight Masses’ Giselle Reiber, B.A. Miale, Rob Bryn of Wild Yaks and Dan Scinta, their music is a collage of riotous punk, New York no wave, garage rock and noise all rolled up into one event of a listen. To call it energetic would be an understatement and in terms of their stage show, well let’s just say that it is probably one of the liveliest performances one could see…ever! Wilder than wild, the ‘common fly’ charges about on stage singing vocals and at some point in the show there may even be sparks popping and flying about on his body.

After sharing their track ‘Untitled’ last month, garage rockers L.A. Witch have unveiled another song …
Singer and musician Annabel Allum's growth has been documented beginning with her indie folk track 'Foxes'. Over time her sound became darker, truly being exemplified by her alternative meets post punk 2016 song 'Tricks'. Fast forward to now and Allum has moved into a grungier style manifesting into her latest EP 'All That For What'. Four songs in total, her delivery is bolder, the sound is edgier like monstrous waves crashing with force. Whilst it hasn't been drastically long since her debut EP 'Absent' was released, the change in herself is evident, with the music packing a great deal of power.
Brooklyn band Fruit & Flowers have built a name for themselves grinding it out in the NYC circuit. Making their debut with the track 'Turquoise' a couple years back, they went on to drop the hazy 'Way Out' followed by the rocking post-punk song 'Out of Touch'. Lacing slick instrumentation and lush melodies over core punk, Fruit & Flowers are now ready to unleash their new EP 'Drug Tax' on June 30th. A soundtrack to the new BK, the record soars with racing punk guitar riffs, surf bass lines and firing drums. Factor in lush vocals and you an EP standing firm as the Great Wall of China.
Somewhere in between bursting indie pop and raw, pumping garage punk is where Canada's Mise en Scene sit, finely sewing all sounds flawlessly together. Hailing from Winnipeg, the group was established by members Stefanie Blondal Johnson and Jodi Dunlop, who originally came together through their love of visual arts and of course music itself. The result was a gorgeous sound, accessible to the masses yet true to their roots.
