Danish trio Nelson Can has released their extremely impressive 'EP3', which is out via Alcopop Records. Aside from us having already played it countless times, one of the top tracks on the EP is their tune 'Downtown'. They have now released a video for the cut. Shot by Jakob Sleiborg and edited by MAGMA CPH, the visuals feature the girls performing the song with the entire video shaded in red. You can watch 'Downtown' below.
Running 10 years strong in the music business, NYC rockers The Men are celebrating with the release of their new album 'Drift', landing March 2nd on Sacred Bones. The new work follows their 2016 LP 'Devil Music'. Working with Travis Harrison of Guided by Voices, 'Drift' is an expansion of sound, initiated by the previous album with The Men giving the tracks more of an open space without sacrificing musicality.
Releasing their highly impressive 'Let's Plan A Robbery' EP back in 2016, NYC trio Acid Dad are now gearing up for the landing of their self-titled debut album, out March 9th on Greenway Records. The outfit have also shared a new single entitled '2Ci', which is featured on the forthcoming LP. Hull band Vulgarians will hit the road soon with 'The Beautiful South' tour. Beginning January 25th at The Sebright Arms in London, the group will play dates in Brighton, Bristol and Southampton.
Teaming up with MJ of Hookworms and releasing their EP 'Almost-Instinct, Almost True' back in 2017, Vulgarians have been in the studio working on their debut LP. With their previous record stacked with grooving and heavy post-punk gems, we're assuming that the band will deliver another heavy-hitting performance.

One the albums that we're excited about in 2018 is the debut LP from London trio Dream Wife. Since releasing their initial 'EP01' record back in 2016, the band's blend of punk, pop and indie have garnished them a lovely following and spins of BBC Radio 1. With their self-titled album landing January 23rd, Dream Wife have revisited their track 'Hey Heartbreaker' with another video, this time directed by Mason London. What you have here is an animation of the girls as robots playing in their restricted Bar Lolita establishment before finally breaking free. Have a look.
Philly band Corey Flood will release their new EP 'Wish You Hadn't' on February 23rd. Their first track taken from the upcoming record is their night sprinkled post-punk tune 'Feel Okay'. Led by haunting bass line, claps and smokey, lo-fi vocals, there is a particular magic in the nocturnal minimalism which is peppered with a tinge of goth, making it a track you'll find yourself playing repeatedly. If this is a peak into the window of what's to come, then we're beyond excited for the EP to land. Check it out.
Brooklyn band QWAM have shared their new single 'Dirty Feet'. The song follows their previous single 'Doggie Door' which was the lead-off cut taken from their forthcoming EP 'Feed Me', out January 19th. Taking cues from the classic era of New York City 70s punk, 'Dirty Feet' is an electrifying offering driven by powering guitar riffs and gritty, in your face vocals.
Norwegian band Datarock are a group who have never been limited to any spefic genre, quite frankly defying any one title. This has always been a key element to their magic. With their new album 'FACE THE BRUTALITY' out March 9th, Datarock have shared the lead-off single titled 'Ruffle Shuffle'. Somewhere between spaced-out psychedelic, funk and indie-pop, the upbeat tune is another glorious treat from the band, something that we've grown to expect.
