Mint Field ‘Quiero Otoño De Nuevo’ Video

Tijuana-based duo Mint Field are a musical pair who should definitely be on your radar. With their debut LP 'Pasar De Las Luces' landing Feb 23rd on Innovative Leisure, these girls are delivering excellent psych, shoegaze and dream pop sounds. Their latest single 'Quiero Otoño de Nuevo' is a perfect reflection of these styles whipped into one exciting package. Mint Field have also shared the video to 'Quiero Otoño de Nuevo'. The visuals feature a guy who facilitates the imagery on billboards, eventually finding himself struggling to remove a message that has now popped up on the screen, broadcasting it to the the outside world. You definitely wouldn't want to be in his position! And for the record, pressing the ESC button on the keyboard clearly doesn't always solve the problem. Have a look.

Listen to Husky Loop’s ‘Fading Out’

London-based trio Husky Loops are set to release their new record 'EP2' on October 6th. Having recently unveiled their video 'Girl Who Wants To Travel The World', the band now bring forth their new single 'Fading Out'. Never shy of experimenting and pushing their sound further than previously, staggering guitar lines sit atop swinging, Hip-Hop-style drums thumps, all floating on one wavy rhythm.

The Brooklyn music scene is definitely healthy with a slew of bands continuing to release incredible tracks. BK band Weird Owl have been a part of this movement for a number of years now, having dropped their debut LP 'Ever the Silver Cord Be Loosed' back in 2009. Now with their new album set to 'Bubblegum Brainwaves' scheduled to land October 13th, the boys have shared a new song entitled 'You (Sometimes Not You)'. A psychedelic ride of intergalactic synths and streching pop melodies, the song is a window into what's to come in regards to their new record.

Listen to The Vryll Society’s ‘Shadow Of A Wave’

Liverpool band The Vryll Society have been at the forefront of bands pumping out killer psychedelic sounds for the past couple of years now. Their 'Pangea' EP displayed a high level of craftsmanship with their songs transferring from the record to live show settings flawlessly. With the group sharing their song 'Sacred Flight' earlier this year, they now return with a new cut titled 'Shadow Of A Wave'. Whilst the psych blueprint of their past work is firmly laid, The Vryll Society have added more indie rock production to the mix, lifting their music to more of a mainstream appeal, yet without compromising the integrity of their sound that helped to lure fans in from the start. BIRDS Share Their New Alternative Cut ‘See It All’

Brooklyn-based outfit BIRDS are set to release their debut album 'Everything All At Once' on August 18th. Forthcoming on Greenway Records, the group have shared their latest single 'See It All', which is also featured on the new record. Taking a 90s alternative sound and bridging it with psychedelic wiring, the tune is radiating with sing-a-long melodies giving it a distinct pop appeal. Have a listen.

Listen to BIRDS’ Psych/Rock Cut ‘Scatter’

Brooklyn band BIRDS are set to drop their new album 'Everything All At Once' on August 18th. Forthcoming on Greenway Records, the LP will get released on limited-edition vinyl and cassette, as well as digitally. The group have also shared a new single entitled 'Scatter' which will be featured on the album. Art Feynman ‘Slow Down’ Video

Art Feynman will release his debut album 'Blast Off Through The Wicker' on July 14th via Western Vinyl. Known for his culture-clashing hybrid of music ranging from krautrock to Highlife, he now unveils his new video 'Slow Down', directed by Terri Loewenthal. A trippy collage of sometimes blurred visuals of city shots, people and bursting flashes of lights, the video is definitely a mind spin, yet coincides well with the track itself. Have a look.
